Activating capital for systemic transformation

With the poly-crisis we are facing, there is a need to mobilize capital for transformative change initiatives that address the root causes of complex societal challenges and overcome siloed and single point approaches. This is why TWIST exists.

Over the past two years they have built a community of pioneers to learn together about what is working (and what is not). By working with leading research institutions like the MIT Sustainability Initiative in Boston, TWIST has managed to increase evidence and awareness on systemic investing practices, and provide education on how to ’invest for system transformation’ in practice.

Similar to TWIST, we at alv foundation believe that system transformation (the ‘outer work’) and personal transformation (the ‘inner work’) are closely linked. We therefore welcome TWIST's efforts to provide a safe space for inner development of “TWISTEEs” while collecting more evidence on the relationship between the inner and outer dimension of investing for system change.

As an active member and supporter of TWIST alv aims to co-build and strengthen this newly emerging field together with others.
