As a co-funder, alv accompanied two projects: In one, Nela used the methods of the doughnut economy to support the development of municipal sustainability strategies through socially inclusive participation methods.
In another project, the methods of the doughnut economy were applied to deal with conflicting goals and interests in a constructive, participatory and transparent manner.
The projects not only resulted in a collection of relevant methods for municipal development and helped the model municipalities in their specific processes, but also provided exciting insights into better understanding the potential of the doughnut model in shaping munipical change processes.
